“Ich kann es kaum noch mit zivilisierten Worten beschreiben, was ich darüber denke,” erklärte der ungarische Ministerpräsident Viktor Orbán unter Bezug auf den Vorschlag der Europäischen Kommission, bei Nichteinhaltung der sog. EU-Quotenregelung (der “EU-Umverteilungsplan für Flüchtlinge”) für jeden einzigen Fall eine Strafe von bis zu 250.000 Euro zu verhängen. Das vernichtende Urteil Orbáns: “Die führenden europäischen Politiker agieren losgelöst von der realen Welt, also ob sie in einem Elfenbeinturm sitzen. Sie wissen offenbar überhaupt nicht, was sie daherreden.”

Nach den jüngsten Vorschlag der Europäischen Kommission sollen die “Flüchtlinge” auf die einzelnen Mitgliedstaaten nach dem Prinzip der Verhältnismäßigkeit aufgeteilt werden. Die Anzahl soll nach Einwohnerzahl des betreffenden Landes und nach seinem BIP errechnet werden. Länder, die nicht damit einverstanden sind, eine derart festgelegte Anzahl von Flüchtlinge aufzunehmen, sollen an der Quotenreglung in Form einer finanziellen Buße (“Strafsatz”) beteiligt werden. Die Buße für jeden nicht aufgenommenen Flüchtling soll sich auf bis zu 250.000 Euro belaufen.

Der ungarische Ministerpräsident hält mit seiner Kritik an dem Vorschlag der Europäischen Kommission nicht zurück und bezeichnet diesen als “völlig daneben”. Orbán verlangt, dass Ungarn die Möglichkeit gegeben werden müsse zu entscheiden, mit wem man im eigenen Lande zusammenleben wolle und mit wem nicht. Er erinnert zugleich daran, dass sein Land bereits erhebliche Kosten im Zusammenhang mit der Migrationskrise tragen musste, wie der Bau eines Grenzzauns, die Einrichtung eines Registrierungssystems für “Flüchtlinge” und die damit verbundenen zusätzlichen Polizeiaufgaben.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban referred to the European Commission proposal, assuming a penalty of up to 250 thousand. euro for a single unmatched refugee. – European leaders are isolated from the world in an ivory tower. They do not know what they are talking – rated Orban.

According to the latest proposal of the European Commission, the refugees would be getting to the individual Member States according to the simple principle of proportionality. The amount of immigration would be allocated in relation to the number of inhabitants of the country and its GDP. Countries that do not agree to accept a certain amount of refugees, and so will have to participate in the scheme through financial participation. His critical comments against the EC proposal does not hide the Prime Minister of Hungary. Viktor Orban admitted that he has a problem, that in civilized words to describe what he thinks about this. – They want to pick Hungary the opportunity to decide who we want, and what we do not want to live – he said. According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, “European leaders are isolated from the world in an ivory tower” and “do not know what they are talking.” The whole concept of the European Commission described as a “mistake.”

Orban recalled that his country has already borne considerable costs in connection with the migration crisis. It mentioned here means earmarked to to build a wall on the border, the registration system of refugees and grant additional tasks of the police.
